If your values agree with ours and you want to make a positive difference in the union, we would love for you to join us.
In order to do so, please contact us via this form and tell us a little bit about you and let us know if there are already any members who can vouch for you. We will then take a few weeks to consider your application and let you know how to connect with us on the various platforms we use to organise, collaborate and commiserate. We ask all our members for a very small monthly subscription of £1-£5 per month (self-determined based on income and circumstances) which we use to support our activities, ranging from running elections for national union positions to commissioning research on key issues facing the union and its members. We also use this to pay precarious members to produce blog posts and conduct admin tasks.
